Former Arsenal star Samir Nasri has blasted ex-France boss Didier Deschamps, accusing him of 'taking the p***' by leaving him out of the 2014 World Cup squad.

The attacking midfielder, 35, quit international football as a result of his omission and revealed that he 'blew a fuse' at the time.

In an interview with ZackNaniProd, Nasri opened up about how much he was hurt given his role for Man City that year as they won the title and League Cup.

'He screwed up my dream,' Nasri said. 'Playing a World Cup in the country of football was my thing. I had a crazy good season.

'I thought I was going to Brazil to destroy the World Cup. I believed it. We were crowned champions [with Manchester City] and I scored in the League Cup final.

'When you see the names of the players called up, I blew a fuse. I thought he is taking the p*** with me.'

Nasri also disclosed that he and Deschamps are no longer on speaking terms.

'I can only wish him the best, but I don't care. He's not my friend and I won't say hi to him because I don't like him as a person,' he said.

It comes after Nasri admitted Arsenal 's*** ourselves' when they were outclassed by Manchester United in the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2009.

Arsene Wenger's team saw off AC Milan and Villarreal in the round of 16 and quarter-final stages, respectively, before taking on United in the last four.

Speaking on semi-final tie, Nasri said: 'It was the first time I'd seen the Emirates with such a crazy atmosphere, you had flags everywhere and all!

'When you go into a match with shivers down your spine, you can feel you're going to have a great game.

'And we s**t ourselves. We s**t ourselves, and we came up against a great Cristiano Ronaldo.'

United won a tense first leg 1-0 at Old Trafford but Wenger's side had home advantage in the return.

But Ferguson's men made a rampant start at the Emirates as goals from Park Ji-sung and Cristiano Ronaldo put United 2-0 up on the night - and 3-0 on aggregate - in the opening 11 minutes.

Ronaldo scored again to put the tie beyond any doubt before Robin van Persie netted a consolation as United progressed to the final, despite being reduced to 10 men when Darren Fletcher was sent off.
