Saudi Arabian side Al Sharq Club of Dilam announced the signing of Egyptian player Mohamed Shika on loan coming from Petrojet.

Mohamed Shika, who plays as a center forward, recently returned to Petrojet after a short loan spell with Tanta. Now the player will be getting ready for a new quest, this time in the Saudi Arabian second division league.

Shika will not be the first Egyptian to join the club as the Dilam-based Al Sharq signed before Egyptian striker Wael Farag from Tala’a El Geish, but the player did not stay with the club for long as he recently terminated his contract in late 2018.

Al Sharq are aiming to enhance their position and qualify to the first division as they are currently seventh in the second division league table with 16 points claimed in 12 matches. The team achieved four victories and suffered from four draws and four defeats.
