Former Barcelona forward Javier Saviola has sent a warning to Inter's Lautaro Martinez, who has been linked with a move to the Camp Nou.
Saviola, who played for Barcelona between 2001 and 2007, pointed to the way in which Juventus star Paulo Dybala has struggled to play alongside Lionel Messi with Argentina.
"Dybala said it was difficult with Messi and I supported him, because nobody understood what he meant," Saviola told Goal.
"He has such a high pace that sometimes you have to have a very high level of concentration, be very aware of the play and go at the pace imposed by the team.
"You think it's easy, but then you go at a spectacular pace."
Despite this, Saviola believes that Lautaro is an exceptional forward.
"I like Lautaro a lot. He's a forward I enjoy, because he's one of those guys who can unlock a defence, and he's not just a goalscorer," Saviola noted.
"He plays good football and has a special way of understanding his position.
"He's one of the most evolved players."
The Argentine even stated that Lautaro could be a starter for Quique Setien's side.
"He could get into the Barcelona team," Saviola commented.
"[But] he has a long way to go."
