Hull City stunned promotion hopefuls Sheffield United to escape the Championship's relegation zone, storming to a 3-0 win at Bramall Lane on Friday.
Chris Wilder's Blades had the chance to overtake Leeds United at the summit, but they fell behind within six minutes as Matt Crooks rifled home from outside the area after Alfie Gilchrist failed to clear his lines.
Sheffield United failed to record a single shot on target until Callum O'Hare's flick was turned over the crossbar by Ivor Pandur in the 51st minute, then the hosts fell victim to a controversial call six minutes later.
Moments after being introduced as a substitute, Tyrese Campbell got in behind to flick past Pandur, only for the linesman's flag to go up for offside.
However, replays showed Sean McLoughlin may have been playing the Blades man onside, and Hull made that reprieve count almost instantly when substitute Matty Jacob prodded home.
The Tigers then killed the contest two minutes from time as Harrison Burrows bundled Joao Pedro's cross into his own net, capping Sheffield United's biggest defeat of the season.

Data Debrief: Hull's road run continues
Hull have now won three straight away league games without conceding a goal, the first time they have done so since March 2011.
It was just their second victory in their last 18 trips to Sheffield United (six draws, 10 defeats) in a run dating back to 1971.
Ruben Selles' side are now up to 18th, two points clear of Derby County, who occupy the final spot in the relegation zone.
