According to an exclusive report from Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich has added Borussia Mönchengladbach's 17-year-old Wael Mohya to their transfer watchlist and is closely monitoring his performance.

Plettenberg revealed that Bayern has placed Wael Mohya on their watchlist and is paying close attention to the rising star. The player has also expressed interest, but there has been no substantial progress between the two sides yet.

Borussia Mönchengladbach, meanwhile, hopes to finalize a contract extension with Wael Mohya as soon as possible, extending his deal beyond 2028 and including a release clause in the new agreement.

However, whether Wael Mohya remains with the club depends on Mönchengladbach's ability to avoid relegation. Only if Mönchengladbach successfully stays in the Bundesliga is it possible for him to remain at the club beyond next summer.

In addition to Bayern, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Bayer Leverkusen are also interested in Wael Mohya, and several top foreign clubs are monitoring him as well.

Regarding the transfer timeline, Wael Mohya is currently considered unlikely to leave in the winter transfer window.
