Sky Sports: Saudi football officials lost patience to Cristiano Ronaldo

On February 6th, according to Sky Sports, Cristiano Ronaldo's behavior is increasingly dissatisfying Saudi officials responsible for football-related affairs, who believe that his repeated complaints and unprovoked refusal to play have been "harming" the international image of the Saudi Professional League.

Despite being in full physical health and training with his teammates, the legendary star is still considering missing his second game to continue his personal "boycott."

Sky Sports stated that Saudi officials in charge of football affairs have expressed strong concern about Ronaldo's actions. They believe that such behavior not only affects the team's preparation but also triggers unnecessary speculation and controversy among fans and the media. An insider revealed: "Ronaldo is fully capable of playing, but he chooses to continue absenting himself, which has greatly troubled the senior management."

It is understood that this is not the first time Ronaldo has expressed dissatisfaction or protest in a personal way, but this extended absence from matches has touched the patience limit of Saudi football management. Senior officials emphasized that teams and players should prioritize collective interests, and everyone must fulfill their duties.

Some officials believe that Ronaldo's unprovoked absence from Saudi Professional League matches with unreasonable demands has already affected the brand image of the Saudi League, giving people the impression that the Saudi League is an "unprofessional league."

Local Saudi fans and media have also reacted strongly to Ronaldo's actions. Some support his personal decision, believing that players have the right to express their positions; however, more people think that as a core player of the team and a public figure, he has the responsibility to set an example and maintain the image of the team and the league.
