Spain officially sealed their spot at the Qatar World Cup in 2022 after a tight 1-0 victory against Group B rivals Sweden at the Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville on Sunday evening.

Sweden went into the match knowing they needed to win to overtake group leaders Spain, but failed to fire a shot in anger, with only 27 per cent possession and zero shots on target.

As the visitors pushed forward late on, Alvaro Morata punished them, scoring the only goal of the game with four minutes left to put the cherry on Luis Enrique's side's qualification celebrations.
