Luciano Spalletti has now agreed to become Juventus manager as he aims to replace Igor Tudor.

Tudor oversaw an eight-match winless run, which left the club eighth in the Serie A table, defeat against Lazio on Sunday was the side's third consecutive loss in all competitions and was enough to see him sacked earlier this week.
The Old Lady are six points behind leaders Napoli, and have failed to win in their last five league matches in what has been a shocking start to the season so far. Now, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, Spalletti is set to take over the role as he agrees to manage the Italian giants.
“Luciano Spalletti has agreed to become new Juventus manager, deal in place.
“Verbal agreement until June 2026 plus option to extend based on Champions League spot to reach this season.
“Formal steps/contracts being checked by lawyers before signing all documents.”
Italian media reports that Spalletti has made it clear that he will not accept the position on a short-term basis as he believes the club requires a significant rebuild that will take a number of seasons if they are to challenge for silverware.
The 66-year-old coach, who won the Scudetto with Napoli in 2023 recently said: whoever replaces Tudor will be lucky; he’ll certainly find a team he can manage. Juventus is a great club with a great history. I think anyone would be happy to coach them; it could be the fortune of any coach.”
He is likely to announced as manager later this week, after Massimiliano Brambilla takes charge of the side for their Serie A fixture against Udinese on Wednesday night.
