According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona midfielder Olmo received a commemorative jersey for his 100th appearance before Friday's training session. The Spain international posed for photos with his teammates in the gym at the training ground, officially becoming another member of the Blaugrana's 100-appearance club.

Olmo started in Barcelona's away match against PSG on matchday 3 of the Champions League, which was his 100th appearance for the club. However, Barcelona lost that match 4-2, so the traditional commemorative ceremony was postponed. The Clásico then left the club without a suitable moment to honor him. This Friday, the Terrassa-born player finally received his tribute.
Olmo reached this milestone over two seasons and part of a third. He made his Barcelona debut on August 27, 2024, coming on as a substitute in an away match against Rayo Vallecano. The debut was perfect: he scored after coming on, helping Barcelona to a 2-1 victory. He also scored in the following two matches, against Real Valladolid and Girona.
Since then, Olmo has gradually become an important part of Hansi Flick's tactical system. He is versatile enough to play in several positions, and has performed excellently as a midfielder, inside forward, attacking midfielder and even center forward.
In terms of statistics, Olmo has played 67 La Liga matches, scoring 18 goals, and 22 Champions League matches, scoring 3 goals. He also has 8 appearances in the Copa del Rey and 3 in the Spanish Super Cup. His total tally is 22 goals.

This delayed celebration of his 100th appearance underlines Olmo's importance in the Barcelona dressing room. The Terrassa-born player is currently dealing with an adductor injury in his left leg, sustained in the match against Paris, and is expected to return to action after the next international break.
