One of the upsides of having more time on his hands for Jose Mourinho this year has been the chance to play football with his son, Jose Jr.
The two made up part of a 5-a-side team for Mourinho's new show on Russia Today, called 'On The Touchline'.
Mourinho Jr was on Fulham's academy books for three years from 2014-17 as a goalkeeper and the former Manchester United boss admitted his son is a far better player than he ever was.
'He plays better than me, of course,' Mourinho said of his son, who was wearing a Porto shirt for their kick-about. 'Of course he plays better than me.
'I've played with him since he was a kid. Now I miss more, so every second I play with him is a blessing. He plays well.'
Jose Jr is 19, and would have been four years old when his father led Porto to their 2004 Champions League triumph.
Mourinho Snr had spells as a youngster at Rio Ave, Belenenses, and Sesimbra in Portugal but quickly opted to focus on coaching rather than playing.
Since leaving United in December, Mourinho has most notably been working as a pundit for BeIN SPORTS, recently offering an array of insight across the game's major talking points at present.
He has been repeatedly linked with a return to Real Madrid, where manager Santiago Solari is under intensifying scrutiny after being dumped out of the Champions League by Ajax.
He was coy about a return to the Bernabeu on his recent punditry appearance.
'To (Real Madrid) a club that I have been before? If I think the right club, the right structure, the right ambitions, I will have no problem at all,' Mourinho said.
'I think it’s really a reason of pride when a club where you worked before wanting you back. '
Real are third in La Liga, 12 points behind leaders and fierce rivals Barcelona. They next play on Sunday, away to Real Valladolid.
