Luis Suarez has been up to his old tricks once again, after causing a stir in Gremio's win over Cruzeiro over the weekend.

Always one to hog the headlines, the former Liverpool ace had already put his side 1-0 up in the game, before he was at the centre of an incident just minutes before the break.

Suarez was on the receiving end of a challenge from defender Luciano Castan right by the touchline, which saw the striker's boot fall of his foot.

As Suarez complained to the referee about what he thought was a foul, Castan's teammate Marlon Xavier fuelled the Uruguayan s anger by flinging his boot off the pitch.

The cheeky act saw Suarez go into meltdown and only furthered his complaints to the official over what Xavier had done.

So much so, that his over the top reaction and tantrums forced the referee into showing Xavier a yellow card - much to the dismay of the Cruzeiro defender.

In the end it was the the 36-year-old who had the last laugh too, with his Gremio side going on to complete the victory with a 3-0 win.

Suarez is no stranger to controversy in is career, having been reprimanded on multiple occasions for biting his opponents.

While his handball that prevented a certain Ghana goal whilst playing for Uruguay at the 2010 World Cup, is remembered for being one of the tournaments most infamous misdemeanours.
