Sunday League player creates special edition 'Crocfly' football boots

A Sunday League player has used 'cutting edge technology' to create a pair of never-seen-before 'Crocfly' football boots.

Harry Ward, from Leeds, modified the bright pink Crocs using a number of household items, including a Marker pen, Super Glue and classic grey school socks.

Harry's friend was desperate to own a pair of Nike Mercurial Superfly's, so to celebrate his birthday, they rocked up to his house with a personalised bag.

He opened his gift and thanks to the sheer generosity of his friends, the teenager was wearing Crocfly's at his next Sunday League game.

"It was his 18th birthday and he was lacking some flair in the boot department," Harry said.

"He wanted a pair of Superfly's so we made him the next best thing: The Crocfly's.

"They performed immaculately at Sunday League level. Crocfly's are highly breathable but be warned, there is a high chance of trench foot if you're playing on a soggy pitch."

Unfortunately for those interested in creating their own pair of Crocfly's, the one-of-a-kind boot didn't last very long.

"The boots fell to pieces after a giant centre back two-footed our mate after attempting a cheeky step over." Harry told us. "It was a clear red card.

"I would advise bringing a glue stick to games, just in case the tick pulls away from the Croc itself."

All we know is, these unique boots will look fantastic on the Sunday League circuit.

Do you know anybody who would wear these?
