Tacchinardi: Juventus players must show more pride; Tudor could be wrong choice

Former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi believes reality is now hitting coach Igor Tudor and his team.

Juve were beaten by Como on the weekend, leaving them seventh on the Serie A table.

Tacchinardi said on Canale 5: "Have Juve made another mistake in the transfer market and in their choice of coach? It could be.

"I'm not judging today, even if things aren't going well. Juve finished poorly before the break against against Milan, and have started worse . Just look at the first goal they conceded, with little ability to defend.

"On the second: Nico Paz is extraordinary, but you can see Cambiaso's fragility in defending, in not sending him to his strong foot. You can see his lack of desire and hunger."

On Tudor, Tacchinardi also stated: "People talk about Tudor having conveyed a great Juventus spirit, but that's not enough. He needs more, he has to play better. He's changed his formation, but that's not enough.

"And the players also need to show more pride. These are very delicate matches between Real Madrid, Roma, Udinese, and Cremonese. We'll be able to give a summary after the break, but Tudor's situation is really hanging by a thread now."
