According to the latest report from The Telegraph, Benzema sent a message to Ronaldo after joining Al-Hilal, jokingly saying that he would not only get a raise but also win another title.

Reports indicate that for most retired football stars and some younger players worldwide, playing in Saudi Arabia is primarily seen as a highly attractive lucrative opportunity.
In the European mindset, "playing in Saudi Arabia" itself represents a career choice; the specific club chosen is a minor detail, not the core issue.
However, for Cristiano Ronaldo, medals are paramount. He continues to pursue his career with passion, and his goal of reaching 1000 career goals is equally important.
To some extent, this might seem excessive for a 41-year-old veteran, but on the other hand, it perfectly reflects his indomitable spirit.
It is this spirit that propelled him to the pinnacle of football history, not to mention his brand licensing business worth hundreds of millions of euros.
A source close to Saudi Arabia revealed this week that Benzema carefully reviewed his contract with Al-Ittihad and believed he could earn more. After transferring to Al-Hilal, he sent Ronaldo a message.
He joked that he not only got a raise but would also win the league title again. No one knows if he ended with a "haha," but it certainly left Ronaldo deep in thought.
Ronaldo has also hinted that this summer's World Cup final will be his farewell performance for the national team. Clearly, he still occasionally contributes goals for Portugal, and his 226 appearances are a respectable record.
But everyone knows that this has gone on for far too long and is no longer appropriate. Even so, it seems no one, especially Roberto Martinez, has the right to tell Ronaldo that his national team career is over.
It's speculated that Al-Nassr will reconcile with Ronaldo and bring him back to the team. Ronaldo's advantage is that he can basically do whatever he wants; his release clause is reportedly €50 million.
However, it's believed that to avoid Ronaldo losing his temper, this fee will likely be waived. For Saudi Arabia, a free transfer is obviously much better than Ronaldo causing a scene in Piers Morgan's studio again.
