Erik ten Hag and Anthony Martial were caught 'having a go at eachother' during Manchester United's game against Newcastle.

Recently, Ten Hag has had his struggles within his own squad, particularly regarding some of his biggest stars.

He first had a very public falling out with Portugese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, but has since ostracised £73m man Jadon Sancho for disciplinary reasons and is now facing a row with Raphael Varane.

And in a new twist it seems as though the United boss he may another set of players to deal with.

Camera's picked up an incident between the Dutchman and his French striker Martial, which involved 'lot of arm-waving from both.'

Ten Hag looked incensed at his players lack of effort and Martial seemed to not track his runner giving Miguel Almiron a chance to score.

Jermaine Jenas also blasted Marcus Rashford for his 'criminal' lack of effort in the first half.

Speaking on Discovery+ at half-time Jenas said: "I think it was poor I think his body language was shocking throughout the game too many moments throwing his arms about. I feel like he's sending a message to his manager almost, like 'I don't want to play out here.'

"Things like that is criminal it really is, putting your team under that type of pressure by not doing your duties as a wide man to be tracking back
