TalkSPORT's Jamie O'Hara has claimed he is annoyed that Thomas Tuchel has been making excuses after Chelsea's defeat to Southampton.
The Blues took the lead through Raheem Sterling, however collapsed defensively in the remainder of the first half and lost 2-1 at St. Mary's.
Tuchel highlighted that injuries are already having a big effect on his side, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek seemingly added to the list of players set for a spell on the sidelines.
Midfield is now an area hit particularly badly, with Mateo Kovacic still being eased back in and N'golo Kante a few weeks away from returning.
However, O'Hara wasn't buying Tuchel's excuses, saying he is not doing enough in his own role to get the most out of his squad.
O'Hara furious with Tuchel
He said: “I think that's a disgrace what he's coming out with. You've got one of the best squads in the country. You can sign all the best players you've ever wanted. You throw cash at every problem you have. You've got an unbelievable youth setup.
“Don't start coming out with excuses that you've only got 16 players to train with. You're not good enough. The players ain't stepping up, and you're getting it wrong.”
In truth, things have not been as easy as that lazy point of view would suggest for the Blues during this transfer window, with them missing out on a number of targets in bizarre and unique circumstances.
These are obviously very little to do with Tuchel, although he is believed to be included in discussions regarding who the club should be signing.
Chelsea are however expected to announce the addition of Wesley Fofana today, and will then face a manic final couple of days to see if they can add to their attacking reinforcements with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
