According to The Sun, Man City is advancing a £300 million Etihad Stadium redevelopment project. With the North Stand expansion nearing completion, the Etihad Stadium's capacity will increase to 61,470, further cementing its place among England's largest stadiums.

The report states that the centerpiece of this expansion is the North Stand redevelopment. With Guardiola departing this summer, the club also plans to name the expanded North Stand the "Guardiola Stand" in honor of the legendary manager.
However, Man City's development plans do not stop there. The club is currently awaiting approval from the local council to build a new immersive entertainment center, with a capacity of approximately 600 people, in Medlock Square next to the stadium, as part of the overall Etihad Campus upgrade project.
The venue is expected to become the new permanent home of the interactive musical "Mamma Mia!" experience and, together with the Co-op Live venue near the stadium, will form a large integrated entertainment complex encompassing sports, performances, and entertainment.
According to the Man City Council assessment report, the project is expected to create approximately 150 jobs and operate year-round. The relevant planning application is expected to be discussed on June 11, and it is widely anticipated to be approved.
