On 24 February, the Premier League has announced the best player nominees of Matchweek 27.

Eberechi Eze (Spurs 1-4 Arsenal)

Having scored a hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur in November, Eze was Spurs’ tormentor once more as he netted twice against them on Sunday.

Viktor Gyokeres (Spurs 1-4 Arsenal)

The Swede is now in double figures for the season after also scoring a brace at Spurs, in what was arguably his best display since joining Arsenal.

Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace 1-0 Wolves)

On his 150th Premier League appearance, and with the match finely poised at 0-0, the Palace goalkeeper made a huge penalty save from Tolu Arokodare - his fifth in the competition.

Raul Jimenez (Sunderland 1-3 Fulham)

Fulham's talisman opened the scoring with a deft header and then maintained his perfect Premier League penalty record, scoring from the spot for the 13th time. No player in Premier League history has netted more penalties without missing any.

James Milner (Brentford 0-2 Brighton)

The Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder made Premier League history on Saturday by making his 654th Premier League appearance, as he helped the Seagulls to win at Brentford.

Nico O'Reilly (Man City 2-1 Newcastle)

The 20-year-old netted his first ever top-flight brace for Manchester City - with a sweet left-foot shot and towering header, either side of Lewis Hall's leveller for Newcastle - to crown a breathless midfield display.

Anton Stach (Aston Villa 1-1 Leeds)

Germany international Stach caught out Emiliano Martinez with a magnificent free-kick into the top corner. It was his third direct free-kick goal of this season - the joint-most in the Premier League alongside Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai.
