The Premier League announce the list of Player of the month for August.
Riccardo Calafiori (Arsenal)
P3 W2 D0 L1 G1 A2
Calafiori highlighted both his defensive and attacking qualities for Arsenal. At Manchester United he headed in the winning goal, while also contributing to a clean sheet. The Italian then recorded two assists in a 5-0 win against Leeds United. Mikel Arteta's side only conceded one goal all month and Calafiori played a key role in their defensive solidity.
Hugo Ekitike (Liverpool)
P3 W3 D0 L0 G2 A1
Ekitike has hit the ground running since signing for Liverpool this summer, proving instrumental to his team's 100 per cent start to the season. He scored and assisted on his debut, in a win over AFC Bournemouth, and the striker followed that up with a goal in a victory at Newcastle United.
Jack Grealish (Everton)
P3 W2 D0 L1 G0 A4
Grealish has made an incredible start to his Everton career since joining from Manchester City this summer, producing four assists, double the total of any other Premier League player this season. He assisted both goals as Everton beat Brighton & Hove Albion in their first match at Hill Dickinson Stadium, before setting up two more goals in a 3-2 victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers that put Everton fifth in the table.
Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace)
P3 W1 D2 L0 G1 A0 CS2
The defender has been at the heart of Crystal Palace's unbeaten start to the season. He has contributed to two clean sheets away from home, one against Chelsea and one at Aston Villa. In Crystal Palace's 3-0 win against Villa, Guehi also curled in a spectacular strike from long range.
Erling Haaland (Man City)
P3 W1 D0 L2 G3 A0
The Norwegian has enjoyed a prolific start to the season, scoring three goals in as many matches to top the Premier League scorers' chart. His goals include a double against Wolves in Man City's 4-0 triumph and an instinctive effort at Brighton & Hove Albion in a 2-1 loss.
Joao Pedro (Chelsea)
P3 W2 D1 L0 G2 A2
Joao Pedro directly contributed to four goals in August, the joint-most among Premier League players. He has two goals and two assists since joining Chelsea this summer from Brighton. The forward scored a goal and recorded two assists in a 5-1 win against West Ham United, before ending the month with a headed goal in a home derby win over Fulham.
Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth)
P3 W2 D0 L1 G2 A1
The Bournemouth winger's start to the campaign has been stellar. He scored an opening-day brace at Liverpool, with one of his goals being a sensational solo effort. Then, in the Cherries' first win of the season, against Wolves, he set up Marcus Tavernier for the only goal of the match.
Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool)
P3 W3 D0 L0 G1 A0
Szoboszlai has been one of the stars of Liverpool's perfect start to 2025/26. The Hungarian has been largely playing out of position at right-back, first doing so in a 3-2 victory at Newcastle, against whom he produced a wonderful dummy in the lead-up to Liverpool's stoppage-time winner. He then produced a masterclass performance against Arsenal that included scoring one of the best free-kick goals in Premier League history to win the game. Only two players won more tackles than Szoboszlai's seven in August.
