Tottenham news: Catch all the latest Tottenham news including updates on the search for a new manager after Graham Potter's sacking and a major James Maddison transfer chance
Here is your Tottenham morning digest on Monday, April 3.
Graham Potter decision
Chelsea confirmed the sacking of Graham Potter on Sunday evening after their defeat to Aston Villa. Just a week earlier, Tottenham announced the departure of Antonio Conte and are on the lookout for a new manager.
Spurs confirmed in their statement that Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason would take over until the end of the season, and with Potter back on the market, Daniel Levy has been handed a huge chance.
Julian Nagelsmann looked to be the favourite in north London, but Chelsea could snap up the German before the end of the campaign, which could prompt Spurs to appoint Potter.
Maddison chance
Leicester City have announced that manager Brendan Rodgers has left the club through a "mutual agreement" after four years in charge of the Foxes.
With the hunt for their next manager underway, the decision could be huge in ensuring the future of some of their key stars, in particular James Maddison.
Kane Man United message
Shay Given has told Manchester United that signing Harry Kane could solve a glaring problem in their team.
He told Sky Sports: "There’s two or three massive holes in that team if they want to compete at the top of the league and obviously the striker is probably the main one.
"We talk about Harry Kane and Tottenham, and the Tottenham fans are probably swearing at the TV but at the same time, he’d be the perfect replacement and a perfect no.9 for Manchester United."
