Toure: Messi, Henry, Eto'o, Iniesta & Xavi are my favorites, they're unbeatable

Yaya Toure played for Barcelona between 2007 and 2010 and has fond memories of that time. He spoke on FIFA's social media accounts to fans, one of whom asked about the five best players he's shared a team with.

"Messi, Henry, Eto'o, Iniesta and Xavi," said Toure. "In that era they were unbeatable."

Surprisingly he didn't include any players from his years at Man City or with the Ivory Coast national team, like Didier Drogba.

Toure also said his favourite stadium was Camp Nou, "because there stars like Ronaldo and Maradona have played, and because Messi, Eto'o, Henry, Alves, Iniesta and co could play there too, and I'm grateful for that era of my life."

Toure says one of his favourite memories "was when we beat Real Madrid 6-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu. That was an iconic game, against a big rival at their own stadium. That day we played total football. I'll never forget it."

Invited to compare the Manchester derby with Madrid v Barca, Toure had no doubts. "Honestly, the Clasico is much bigger. United were always one of the great English sides but for many years, City weren't. But Barca-Madrid is the biggest rivalry in football history."
