Goal takes a look at the biggest transfer news and rumours from the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and beyond

PSG hold talks with Conte’s representatives

Paris Saint-Germain have held preliminary talks with representatives for Chelsea manager Antonio Conte about becoming the Ligue 1 club’s manager, according to the Guardian.

PSG’s Champions League elimination at the hands of Real Madrid likely spells the end for Unai Emery and Conte, who is also in the frame for the Italy gig, has seen his own position with the Blues come under fire.

The club consider Conte one of four option at this point, but should the Parisians decide to move forward, they will be able to offer the manager a salary of £10 million a year.

Salah to snub Real Madrid for new Liverpool contract

Mohamed Salah is set to snub interest from Real Madrid in favor of signing a new lucrative contract with Liverpool, according to the Mirror.

Salah’s incredible Premier League campaign has drawn the interest of the Spanish giants, but the Egypt winger has told friends he wishes to remain in England.

Liverpool are ready to reward Salah with a new deal that will pay him £200,000-a-week as Jurgen Klopp looks to build around the star.

Mourinho wants Ronaldo

Jose Mourinho is ready to put past differences behind him and bring Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United, according to Diario Gol.

Recent setbacks, specifically the defeat to Sevilla in the Champions League, have Mourinho ready to take any player who he thinks can help him avoid the sack next season.

And Ronaldo has grown more amenable to a departure from Real Madrid in the last few days as he feels he has not received adequate support from club president Florentino Perez.

Arsenal and Chelsea to battle for Oblak

Arsenal and Chelsea both have Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak on their wanted list this summer, reports the Sunday Express.

The Gunners have been regularly watching the Slovenian international, who has an £88 million release clause, and view him as the replacement for Petr Cech.

The Blues see Oblak as an option should Thibault Courtois leave for Spain, while Liverpool are also keeping an eye on the keeper.

Pastore: Neymar to Real Madrid a “media game”

Talk of Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar moving to Real Madrid are just manufactured by the media according to team-mate Javier Pastore.

Stories have circulated that the Brazil star is unhappy in his first season with the Ligue 1 club and is ready for a return to Spain, either with Madrid or his old club Barcelona.

However, Pastore, who himself is likely to depart PSG, claims Neymar has little desire to leave and it is instead a “media game.”

Mourinho to sell Pogba to fund United overhaul

Jose Mourinho has lost patience with Paul Pogba and will sell him to fund a transfer overhaul of Manchester United, reports the Mirror.

Pogba, who has been told to cut back on social media, could draw interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

The sale of Pogba would free Mourinho up to pursue Toni Kroos and Raphael Varane and failing that, Marco Verratti and Marquinhos from PSG.

Simeone views Pickford as Oblak replacement

Diego Simeone is preparing for life after Jan Oblak and is looking at Everton’s Jordan Pickford as a summer signing, according to Don Balon.

Oblak has admitted uncertainty over his Atletico Madrid future, and his departure would leave Axel Werner as the likely No.1.

However, Simeone would want competition for Werner and thinks Pickford would be the ideal choice to challenge for the top spot at Atletico.

Can to demand £200,000 per week salary

Emre Can wants a significant bump in pay if he is to remain with Liverpool, according to the Mirror.

The Germany international, who is in the last six months of his deal, wants £200,000-a-week to renew terms at Anfield.

It is unlikely Liverpool will meet those requests, increasing the odds Can departs the Reds this summer, though more talks are expected.

Chelsea an option for Bale

Chelsea could become an option for Gareth Bale, if the Wales international decides to leave Real Madrid, claims Don Balon.

Bale’s future at Madrid appears uncertain as he is no longer a guaranteed starter under Zinedine Zidane and he has long been linked with a move to Manchester United.

However, Chelsea could also be tempted to make an approach for Bale, if Madrid follow up their interest in Blues duo Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard.

Paris Saint-Germain is also a potential destination for Bale, should Madrid bid for Neymar, but a move to China has been ruled out by the former Tottenham winger.

Madrid made January Dzeko approach

Real Madrid made an approach to sign Roma striker Edin Dzeko in the January transfer window, reports Marca.

Chelsea had made a concerted effort to bring in the former Manchester City forward at the start of the year, and they were joined in the pursuit by Madrid.

However, with both clubs only offering a back-up role Dzeko decided to stay with Roma rather than accept a mid-season switch.
