Transfer Market news and rumours LIVE

11:30 CEST: The fight for Romero

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are ready to battle it out for the signature of Atalanta centre-back Cristian Romero. The Argentine spent last season on loan at Atalanta from Juventus, but the Bergamo-based side have the option to buy him for 13.5 million euros, an option they will execute. Now, according to the Sun, Atalanta will look to make around 40-50 million euros from the sale of Romero to one of the Premier League big boys.

11:00 CEST: Jorginho wanted by Juventus

Chelsea plan to open talks with Jorginho about a new contract for the midfielder, who helped the Blues win the Champions League before playing a crucial role in Italy's Euro 2020 success, but the player's agent has revealed that Juventus are interested in bringing him back to Italy.

10:30 CEST: Movement at Liverpool

Liverpool are set to tie down Mohamed Salah to a new contract at Anfield, with his current deal set to expire in 2023, say reports in England. In addition, it is also reported that Liverpool hope to lure Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans to the club as a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, who left on a free to join Paris Saint-Germain.

10:00 CEST: Arsenal's transfer plans

Mikel Arteta is looking to reshape his Arsenal squad after a difficult campaign in 2020/21, so following the return of Dani Ceballos and Martin Odegaard to Real Madrid, coupled with the imminent sale of Granit Xhaka to Roma, he is targeting additions in midfield.

Reports in England claim that there are three players on Arteta's wish list - Sassuolo's Manuel Locatelli, Wolves' Ruben Neves, Lyon's Houssem Aouar and Leicester City's James Maddison. Any deal involving Aouar could see Alexandre Lacazette, who is entering the last year of his contract, return to his former club.

Hector Bellerin is another player tipped to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, with La Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that the Arsenal right-back is in talks with Inter.
