Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel believes that the signing of Romelu Lukaku will help to bring out the best in the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic.

The Blues are on the verge of securing the services of Lukaku for £98m and the signing will come as a relief to Tuchel who's side struggled in front of goal last season - despite their Champions League triumph.
Tuchel has now claimed that Lukaku will bring the best out of his other attackers, who will be looking to improve from last season.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, the German said: 'He (Lukaku) has the kind of profile which likes to play with his back towards the opponent's goal, who likes to hold the ball up, create space for Kai Havertz, for Timo Werner and for Christian Pulisic.
'He is the kind of profile we don't have in our squad right now, that we are looking for if it's possible to sign.
'If it's not possible to sign the player, we will find other solutions as it's still not the moment to talk about names because we have nobody signed yet.'
After signing Timo Werner last year, Chelsea were hopeful that their attacking needs would be fulfilled but the German has flattered to deceive at times, scoring just 12 goals in 52 games.

Havertz scored the winner in the Champions League but it took him a while to get going as he ended the season with nine goals in 45 games.
The departure of Olivier Giroud to AC Milan has left Chelsea light up-top and the signing of the Belgium international will give Tuchel a host of options to choose from.
The Blues will open their season on Saturday with a home fixture against Crystal Palace, as they eye Premier League glory this time round.
