Match Report

Tunisia showcased their attacking strength in AFCON 2025 by defeating Uganda 3-1 in Group C. The Eagles of Carthage opened the scoring early through Ellyes Skhiri in the 10th minute and extended their lead with a second goal from Eyaad Achouri in the 64th minute.

Uganda managed a late consolation goal in stoppage time (90+2), but it wasn’t enough to challenge Tunisia’s dominance.

Despite Uganda holding 51% possession, Tunisia controlled the game’s key moments, converting their opportunities efficiently. The match highlighted the Eagles’ sharp attacking play, strong set-piece execution, and clinical finishing, ensuring all three points remained with the North African side.

With this win, Tunisia climbs to the top of Group C, followed by Nigeria. Tanzania holds third place, while Uganda remains at the bottom, needing to regroup quickly for their upcoming matches.
