Toni Kroos scored a last-gasp winner against Sweden to keep Germany's World Cup hopes alive on Saturday night.
The reigning champions fell behind to a brilliant goal by Ola Toivonen before Marco Reus equalised after half-time.
It looked as though Germany were heading for a draw until Kroos scored a fantastic curling free-kick right at the death.
Germany's dramatic win was, unsurprisingly, a hot topic on social media.
One Twitter user wrote: 'Sweden was playing in Kroos control. That’s what happens.'
Former Germany midfielder Michael Ballack wrote: 'A game takes 90 minutes .... sometimes a bit longer.'
Arsenal defender and Germany international Shkodran Mustafi wrote on Twitter: 'What‘s going on!? Unbelievable game. Big win boys.'
Pundit Rio Ferdinand also posted his thoughts on social media: 'Stop it @ToniKroos.'
Fellow pundit Gary Lineker wrote: 'Football is a simple game, 22 men chase the ball for 82 minutes and the Germans get a player sent off so 21 men chase the ball for 13 minutes and at the end the Germans somehow f****** win.'
The official Twitter account for La Liga wrote: 'What an amazing finish to an exciting match by our very own #LaLigaWorldCup player @ToniKroos.'
While Mesut Ozil posted a picture with Reus after the match with the caption: 'What! A! Fight! We are one team - on and off the pitch. No matter what they say.'
Singer Robbie Williams also got in the act by posting: 'I love you @ToniKroos x' on Twitter.
