After player for Brazil's U20 side on Thursday, Vinicius Junior took time out to praise new Real Madrid coach, Santiago Solari.
The youngster has already surpassed the amount of minutes afforded to him by previous incumbent, Julen Lopetegui.
"Solari has always helped me since I arrived in Madrid," he said to reporters.
"He made sure I arrived with a calm head and dedicated myself to playing, and this is also what he's done with me in the first team."
After the friendly on Thursday, the former Flamengo player lamented the absence of goals in the match with Colombia.
"We have to evolve enough and work during those three or four days we have before the next match," stressed the 18-year-old striker.
Vinicius also recalled the birthday of his first team, Flamengo.
"It's the team in my heart," he added.
"I'm very fond of them and always will be."
