Werder Bremen sign 19-Year-Old forward Kébé from le havre

Beijing time (CET+7) on May 8th, Werder Bremen officially announced that the club has signed Le Havre's 19-year-old forward, Kébé.

Werder Bremen has officially finalized its first signing for the new season. 19-year-old Kenny Kébé will join the club as a free agent from Le Havre in Ligue 1. Werder Bremen's professional football director, Peter Niemeyer, confirmed the news on Thursday.

Peter Niemeyer said: "We are very pleased that Kenny, a talented and promising young player, has chosen to join Werder Bremen. We will help him take the next step in his professional career here. He has already accumulated first-team experience in a top European league, and we believe he can realize his talent within the team."

Head coach Dionysiou is also satisfied with the arrival of the team's first new signing for the new season: "Kenny is technically comprehensive, has outstanding footwork, and is very fast. His style is eye-catching, and he can add another option to the team's future forward rotation."

The 19-year-old French youngster was born in Paris and came from the Le Havre youth training system, rising from the youth team all the way to the first team. He completed his Ligue 1 debut in December 2025. The 1.89-meter-tall center forward has played in 9 Ligue 1 games this season on behalf of the team, scoring 1 goal, and has another cup appearance record.
