West Ham 1-2 Bournemouth: Callum Wilson and Steve Cook seal comeback

  /  autty

Bournemouth came from behind to deny West Ham a home victory on Manuel Pellegrini's first game at the London stadium.

Half an hour was the time taken for the deadlock to be broken, after Marko Arnautovic stepped up to slot a penalty into the bottom corner after Javier Hernandez was deemed to have been fouled.

But it was the visitors who would start the second half with impetus, levelling the score-line courtesy of a solo run and finish from Callum Wilson.

Four minutes later and Bournemouth were ahead, Steve Cook meeting Ryan Fraser's lofted free-kick to head home and give the Cherries a lead of which they would hold on to.
