West Ham 4-0 Nottingham Forest highlights: Danny Ings, Declan Rice and Michail Antonio seal win

  /  autty

West Ham United will be looking to move out of the Premier League’s relegation zone when they take on Nottingham Forest at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Hammers go into the game off the back of a 2-0 defeat to rivals Tottenham Hotspur six days ago, their first defeat in five matches in all competitions.

For West Ham, it will see them play a Forest side who enter the match in 13th place and five points clear of the Hammers in 18th, holding defending champions Manchester City to a 1-1 draw a week ago.

Irons boss David Moyes could have a close to full fit squad at his disposal for the game this afternoon.

Winger Maxwel Cornet (calf), centre-back Kurt Zouma (thigh) and midfielder Lucas Paqueta (shoulder) were all absent for the trip to Tottenham. However, Cornet and Zouma have been in training this week, while Paqueta has been in light training, with Moyes not ruling any of the trio out of being involved.

It ends 4-0! What a result that is ! West Ham with their biggest win of the season so far, both in stature in goals!

Surridge on.

Antonio heads in against his former side. A good header at the back post. Really good feet from Fornals, header at the back post. 4-0.

Paqueta, Benrahma and Ings off, Antonio, Fornals and Lanzini on.

Declan Rice makes it three. That is a lovel finish, curled from outside of the box after being teed up by Benrahma. Wonderful stuff.

Danny Ings again! Said Benrahma with a great run to the byline, cuts it back, Ings gets a knee to it, that should be that!

A brief VAR check but it's given!

That's the goal! Danny Ings makes it 1-0! A really good move, Ings pings it out wide to Bowen, his cross finds Ings, who does well to convert with the ball behind him!

On comes Areola, with Fabianski forced off.

Off goes Jonjo Shelvey.

Aguerd fuming as Felipe catches Fabianski in the side of his head with his knee.

West Ham with a few waves of attack, but Aaron Cresswell leaves a huge gap behind him. Rice and Aguerd try to make up for it for it but Johnson shoots wide.

Two good chances in quick succession. Bowen shoots from range on his right and hits the post. Then, Paqueta shoots from just outside the box, narrowly turning over.

On his left and it stayed low, but failed to trouble Fabianski.

Williams fizzes in a cross. Aguerd gets ahead of Wood to clear.

And wide, but not far off. Cresswell's corner finding Soucek at the near post.

Back underway here at the London Stadium.

Coufal comes off for Cresswell, Johnson moving to right-back.

A largely flat first half, despite plenty of chances early on, not many clear cut though. Ings' header off a Coufal cross and Paqueta's deflected shot hitting the post the closest so far.

Lukasz Fabianski - 6 Vladimir Coufal - 6 Nayef Aguerd - 7 Angelo Ogbonna - 7 Ben Johnson - 6 Lucas Paqueta - 7 Declan Rice - 7 Tomas Soucek - 6 Jarrod Bowen - 7 Danny Ings - 6 Said Benrahma - 6

Not long to go here.

It doesn't fall for Ings after good work from the left. Soucek then wins it back, finds Benrahma, who wins a corner.

A bad pass sends Johnson on he counter. Ings sprints a good 30/40 yards to catch him, but then kicks him down. Not a good spell for him there.

Holding his shoulder and in discomfort. A concern of course but he's back on and okay. One to watch.

Some interesting decisions so far. Kevin Nolan furious at the fourth official as Benrahma gets clattered into, but the free-kick goes the other way.

After an exciting opening start, the game has declined quite a bit in the last few minutes.

Benrahma down the left with very good feet. Quick give and go with Paqueta, Benrahma cut inside and shot. Stayed by Navas matched it with relative ease.

That should be 1-0. Coufal swings a cross in, Ings with a free header, but Soucek's jump just before put him off. Completely miss-timed it. Big chance.

Brennan Johnson with a stunning touch before running past Ben Johnson. Cut it back for Gibbs-White, whose shot went straight at Fabianski.

Navas punches away at a corner. West Ham targeting him a lot so far. No luck yet.

Felipe meets a Shelvey free-kick and is forced to tip over the bar. Plenty of early chances so far.
