What Kai Havertz did to Jordan Pickford after scoring Chelsea penalty against Everton

The German restored Chelsea's lead against the Toffees from the penalty spot, and performed a cheeky celebration in the process

Chelsea forward Kai Havertz made it three goals in as many games in the Blues' 2-2 draw against Everton. The German striker converted his penalty to give Graham Potter's side a 2-1 advantage at Stamford Bridge.

Earlier in the match, Joao Felix's opener was cancelled out by an Abdoulaye Doucoure header, before Havertz was rewarded with a pressure kick to restore his side's advantage. The spot kick was awarded after Reece James was brought down by Ben Godfrey with around 15 minutes remaining.

The 23-year-old converted excellently as he sent Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford the wrong way. Immediately after seeing the ball crash the back of the next, Havertz had a message for the visiting 'keeper.

He was seen cupping his hands to his ears in the face of the England international as he mocked his opposing number. Chelsea fans loved the reaction and expressed their amusement on Twitter:

@Cfc_Kemboi: "Kai Havertz sending a message to Pickford."

@CFCRaf2: "Havertz mocking Pickford in his celebration he’s elite."

@MichaelBuckle17: "Havertz mocking Pickford after that pen hahahahahaa."

However, Chelsea weren't able to hold onto their advantage as Ellis Simms equalised for Everton late in the contest to share the spoils.
