What happened to Bruno? Red Devil's captain's social media account was hacked

Manchester United were knocked out of the FA Cup third round after a 1–2 defeat to Brighton. After the match, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes’ social media account was hacked, prompting the club to issue an official statement confirming the breach.

Following the hack, several explosive posts appeared on Bruno’s account, including:  “Let’s get rid of INEOS” and“At the end of the day, I’ll always be the winner.”

Manchester United’s official social media team quickly responded with a notice:  “Bruno Fernandes’ social media account has been compromised. Fans are advised not to click on, reply to, or engage with any related posts or direct messages.”

Ironically, the hacker replied in the comments section of the club’s announcement:  “Absolutely not— I’m going to spread this news far and wide.”

The hacker also posted,“Let’s compare stats, Man Utd,” followed by an image showing the result from Matchweek 26 of the 2022/23 Premier League season, when Liverpool thrashed Manchester United 7–0 at Anfield—one of the heaviest defeats in the club’s Premier League history.
