The Inter Miami defender hobbled from the field at Arrowhead Stadium and appeared to be holding his hamstring.
Inter Miami may have added another name to their lengthy injury list as Jordi Alba was substituted in the MLS clash against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday.
The Herons were leading 3-2 when Alba went down on the edge of the Sporting penalty box. No one was near him at the time and he didn’t seem to be struggling with any other issue during the game. He was able to get up and limp from the field but it looked like he may have picked up a hamstring injury.
The veteran Spaniard has played a lot of minutes already this season and maintains his all-action playing style. It looks as if he may have pushed his body too hard on this occasion.
