Whilst there remains uncertainty about Ronald Koeman's position as Barcelona coach, it does appear that Georginio Wijnaldum is moving closer and closer to a switch to the Blaugrana, with the player's agents once again at the Camp Nou offices.

Thursday morning saw the representatives arrive at Barcelona's stadium for the second time in three days.

Gol's cameras captured the agents leaving the offices at noon, with both parties accelerating negotiations to ensure that a deal is closed before the start of the European Championship.

Barcelona intend to secure Wijnaldum to a contract until June 2024, and the club hopes to announce a deal as soon as possible, with talks having been set underway with the midfielder for a number of months.

Whilst Wijnaldum was a request of Koeman, the midfielder is seen as a versatile enough player to be targeted irrespective of the Dutch coach's future, with what happens with Memphis Depay far more of an indicator as to the former Southampton coach's status.
