The 2019 Women’s World Cup draw is complete. And for the United States, the reigning world champions, it offered up two gripping narratives.
The USWNT was drawn into Group F alongside Sweden – the nation which knocked the Americans out of their last major international tournament, the 2016 Olympics.
It also put the U.S. on a quarterfinal collision course with host – and second-favorite – France.
