Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez thinks the Catalan side will find it hard to lure Neymar back to the Camp Nou this summer.
Neymar departed Barcelona in 2017 for Paris Saint-Germain, but the forward is now keen to go back on his decision, while the club themselves are desperate to take him back.
"He would be an incredible signing," admitted Xavi.
"But I see it as being difficult, honestly. I think it's very difficult.
"We have seen so many things that I thought I'd never see though, such as PSG paying 222 million euros, so we'll have to wait.
"There's no doubt that he's one of the best players in the world, but let's see what Barcelona do."
Antoine Griezmann is another player expected to arrive at the club this summer, which Xavi is pleased by.
"He's a great player, a world star," he said.
"He made a difference with Atletico Madrid and with France. He's an extraordinary player.
"It's still not official, but it seems like he's going to Barcelona. I think it'll be a great signing."
Whether or not the Frenchman can play alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez is another issue, but the ex-captain has no real concerns about that.
"We'd have to ask [Ernesto] Valverde [how he'll fit in]," Xavi added.
"He'll make the pieces fit. But if he signs it's because Valverde thinks he can play with the players there.
"Griezmann will be a spectacular signing."
