Loaned out at Leipzig this season, Xavi Simons’ (21) future at PSG remains unclear, as Luis Enrique is rumoured to not count on the Dutch winger next season.
After a solid season on loan at Leipzig, Xavi Simons has attracted interest from a lot of clubs this summer, from Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United to Bundesliga’s record champions Bayern Munich. The Dutch international registered 15 goals and 10 assists with Leipzig across all competitions last season and would be keen on continuing his career in Bundesliga, whether it is with Die Rotten Bullen or elsewhere.
According to Sky Sports Germany, reported by Foot Mercato, Xavi Simons has agreed on personal terms with Bayern Munich. The Dutch winger accepted the contract length and salary proposed by the German outfit. However, Simons leaves the door open to another season in Leipzig, or a different challenge elsewhere. His future might be clarified over the next few days, after the Euros come to a close.
