According to Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain have told Xavi Simons (21) that they have no intention of selling him this summer. Instead, if the player does not want to return to his parent club after his loan at RB Leipzig they would be willing to ship him out temporarily for another season.
A loan away from PSG appears as if it will be the most likely outcome this summer for a player who is reportedly unwilling to return to the French capital. In this case, Simons would have a significant say on which club he would like to be sent to.
There is no shortage of options for the young Dutchman, as his time with Leipzig has put the player firmly in the shop window, with Premier League clubs thought to be interested in trying to convince PSG to part with their wantaway star, while Barcelona have also been heavily linked with a loan deal.
