This Friday, Barcelona saw the unveiling of a new TvBoy mural on its streets, echoing this Sunday's El Clásico at Camp Nou and the Ballon d'Or ceremony early next week.

The mural depicts Yamal in a Barcelona jersey and Mbappe in a Real Madrid jersey, embracing and kissing, with a Golden Ball at their feet, symbolizing both this weekend's pivotal match and the award for the world's best player.

TvBoy is a street artist whose graffiti has documented many significant events and trends in recent years. He has also collaborated with the Barça Foundation, creating a charitable mural at the German Triangle University Hospital in Badalona. With clear Banksy-esque inspiration, he aims to portray sports and social realities.
This work, completed today, is a remake of his 2017 mural. In that piece, Messi and Ronaldo appeared in the same pose to highlight the rights of the LGBTQ+ community, which brought him considerable recognition. In 2022, he used this format again before the World Cup final between Argentina and France, featuring Messi and Mbappe, to criticize the tournament's ban on rainbow armbands and what it represented.
