LA Galaxy saved a point in the 2-2 draw against Seattle Sounders after David Bingham conceded an own goal. Ibrahimovic did his part and netted a double.
LA Galaxy came from a vital win during the midweek session against FC Dallas, a game that also saw, captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic got back into the scoring side, after netting both goals of the game.
Things weren't looking hot for the home side against Seattle Sounders, as Steres so a red card with just six minutes into the game, leaving LA Galaxy with ten men for the rest of the game. However, it didn't seem to bother Barros Schelotto's squad since they kept controlling the game.
Ruidiaz found its way to the back of the net after a counter-attack to give Seattle the lead minutes before the end of the first half, but it only took a couple of minutes for Zlatan to tie the game with a fantastic header just in time for the whistle.
The second half saw the Sounders struggling to find a way to pressure the LA side despite being one man short on the field since the beginning of the game, and a penalty over Zlatan made the Swedish Lion see the back of the net for the second time tonight.
LA Galaxy was the better team on the field, as they proved Dignity & Health Sports Park to be their fortress; however, a terrible mistake by David Bingham gave the Sounders the late tie after Galaxy's own goal.
That mistake could have been worse as Seattle took advantage of it and for the last minutes of the game, sought to turn things over and steal a win, but Bingham was a one mistake kind of man against the Sounders since he blocked all Seattle attempts to save that one point.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Both goals from the Swedish Lion have him tie with Atlanta United striker, Josef Martinez with 20 goals each, although the Five Stripes will play against Portland on Sunday.
