Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has set the record straight on a report which claims he is seeking more than £500,000 per week to remain at Old Trafford.
Rashford is out of contract with United in 2024 after the club triggered a one-year extension in his current deal earlier this season.
United are keen to keep the striker, who has scored 27 goals in all competitions this season, with negotiations ongoing over a new long-term deal for the England international.
A recent report had claimed that Rashford was hoping to secure a new deal worth more than £500,000 per week with his boyhood club.
But he forward has swiftly denied this is the case, posting on Twitter: "Just before this one starts to do the rounds! It's complete nonsense.
"The club and make self have been respectful to one another, and that's how it will remain. My focus is purely on finishing as well as possible in the league and winning trophies."
