According to a report by AS, the relationship between Real Madrid and the Spanish Football Federation has reached a new low. Mourinho will represent Real Madrid's position and convey the club's views.
According to the report, Real Madrid's senior management believes that the series of events since the start of the new La Liga season are not isolated incidents but rather meticulously orchestrated scenes driven by subjective intent. This alleged "plan" reached its peak this week, as evidenced by the punishment handed down to Vinicius Jr., considering its severity and circumstances.
While Real Madrid and the Spanish Football Federation have a long history of disagreements, this time the club's top brass are going further, claiming these events "are not accidental." The official language used to describe this alleged conspiracy against Real Madrid is notably restrained.
The central focus of this dispute is the four-match ban imposed on Vinicius Jr., and most critically, the timing of the announcement: less than two hours before the match against Roma. Disciplinary committee rulings are typically released in the early afternoon, but in Vinicius's case—compounded by the incidents at Vallecas and subsequent incidents—all rulings were delayed, not just the one concerning the Brazilian player's red card.
Before this new conflict emerged, both sides had attempted to establish dialogue, but communication has been virtually nonexistent. The rift between them is deeper than ever. One key difference from past disputes is that Mourinho has become Real Madrid's official spokesperson, and he will convey the Bernabéu's position directly and without restraint.
As reported by this newspaper, the Portuguese manager will represent Real Madrid's position and convey the club's views without reservation. His outspoken personality aligns perfectly with the message the club wants to send. The team's sporting direction has the club's full backing and absolute trust.
The upcoming Roma match is highly significant. The club firmly believes that this Real Madrid team needed a moment like Saturday's comeback against the Italian side to fully unite the dressing room.
