AS understands that Bernd Reichart has signed a contract with Real Madrid to fill the long-vacant position of Chief Commercial Officer. The German executive will be responsible for stadium operations, sponsorships, and merchandise sales, reporting directly to General Manager José Ángel Sánchez.
Reichart served as the external representative for the Super League project during its development—an initiative that led courts to recognize UEFA's abuse of its dominant position and prompted a rebalancing of power between European clubs and UEFA. He previously served as CEO of RTL Group and held executive positions at Atresmedia.
