Those close to Yamal do not hide his disappointment, but they all believe that his mindset will help him quickly "reset."
According to AS, Yamal's inner circle does not hide their disappointment that he finished third in the final Ballon d'Or standings.
Winning the Ballon d'Or was a major expectation for him in 2026.
After the Clásico, he did not travel with the official Barcelona delegation but left on a private plane with his closest companions. He had originally planned to spend the entire Monday in the British capital, soaking in the atmosphere around the Palladium Theatre, and had even booked tables at several restaurants in anticipation of a grand celebration. In the end, he only had fast food.
However, those who know him best say there is no need to worry about Yamal. They said: "He is a different and smart kid, and he will quickly lift his head again."
