According to AS, Ajax and Real Madrid are negotiating the transfer of Ceballos, with Real Madrid demanding close to €10 million.

Reports suggest that Ceballos' next destination is likely to be Ajax. Ajax has begun negotiations with Real Madrid over the midfielder's transfer. The deal is being spearheaded by Jordi Cruyff, with Marca first breaking the news and AS also confirming it. Currently, all parties are optimistic about reaching a final agreement.

Real Madrid are demanding a transfer fee close to €10 million to allow Ceballos to leave. Ceballos has already spoken with Ajax's new head coach, Michele. Michele is the new coach of the traditional Dutch powerhouse and one of the key figures pushing for Ceballos' arrival. Ajax appear willing to meet Real Madrid's asking price, and negotiations are progressing smoothly.

Ceballos is open to joining Ajax. Michele has convinced him that he will play an important role in the team, and he hopes to regain his best form under the former Girona coach. This season, Ceballos has made only 23 appearances, totaling just over 800 minutes of playing time.

If an agreement is ultimately reached, Ceballos will bring an end to his five-season spell at Real Madrid. During that period, he made 215 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 16 assists.

Over the past two transfer windows, he had the opportunity to leave and join Marseille. At the same time, Betis is still monitoring the player's future and continues to dream of bringing back their former player. Previously, for various reasons, his transfer never materialized, but now all signs indicate that Ajax will be Ceballos' next team. Everything fits perfectly.
