Alexis Sanchez has been spotted getting a haircut ahead of Manchester United's opening game of the Premier League season on Friday night.
The Chilean was pictured popping in and out of a barber shop to get a quick touch-up to his already short hair on Thursday.
When asked if the attacker was looking forward to the new campaign he simply gave the cameras a thumbs up as he walked back to his car.
Sanchez made the trip with a friend and looked casual in a white t-shirt and shorts. He also sported a questionable look on his feet, wearing white socks with Nike sliders.
The 29-year-old, who joined United from Arsenal in January on a £500,000-a-week deal, is expected to start for Jose Mourinho's team at Old Trafford as they face the former Premier League champions in a tricky opening fixture.
Sanchez is set to partner Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata in attack with main striker Romelu Lukaku having only recently returned to training following the World Cup.
Earlier this week, Sanchez had urged the Red Devils to make big signings if they wanted to compete with their rivals this season.
He said: 'Manchester United have to go out with the intention of winning everything that's put before them.
'We're a big club. We've had a mixed pre-season and what we've got to start doing now is putting things right in training. At United we have to sign big players with experience.
'Barcelona just signed Arturo Vidal, who is a great player and my team-mate from Chile. He is an example of the type of players we need to sign in order to win trophies and compete at the highest level.'
United failed in their pursuit of a new defender on deadline day, much to the frustration of manager Jose Mourinho. The club did manage summer deals for Fred, Lee Grant and Diogo Dalot though.
