Real Madrid received good news this Monday as Marco Asensio has already tested negative for COVID-19, overcoming the virus.
Los Blancos have been battling something of a mini outbreak in their squad, with a number of first-team regulars being forced out of contention after positive tests.
"I tested negative in my PCR test yesterday," Asensio wrote on Twitter on Monday.
"I'm sending a big hug to the families who haven't been able to see one another in these special days. Keep taking care of each other."
Asensio now joins a list including Gareth Bale, Marcelo, Luka Modric, Rodrygo Goes, Isco, David Alaba and Andriy Lunin to have tased negative for the virus.
As a result, all should be available to face Getafe in LaLiga Santander in Real Madrid's next outing.
Real Madrid are away to Getafe at 13:00 local time on Sunday, January 2.
