Joao Felix marked his return from injury with a goal as Atletico Madrid secured a 3-1 home win over Villarreal on Sunday.

Goals from Angel Correa and Koke turned the game in Atletico's favour at the Wanda Metropolitano, cancelling out Paco Alcacer's first-half opener for the visitors.
A satisfying outing for the hosts was rounded off by a goal from Joao Felix, who found the net just 17 minutes after coming on as a substitute.

The corner is cleared but it comes back out to Vrsaljko on the right, and he loops the ball back in. Morata scissor-kicks a decent volley towards the bottom-left corner which is well saved by Asenjo, and he saves again as Correa can't apply the killer blow with a header on the rebound.

Correa pulls Atletico level! Vrsaljko dangles a cross in behind from deep on the right, and Correa reacts superbly to latch onto it at the right corner of the six-yard box and touch it first-time under the onrushing Asenjo.

Trippier finds a pocket of space on the right. He finds Correa in the area, and he clips a cross in to the edge of the six-yard box where Koke arrives to bury a powerful header.

It's a howler from Asenjo, Joao Felix scores off the bench! Chukwueze loses possession just outside the area, and Koke flicks it on to the youngster. He shoots left-footed from the left side of the area, and a slight deflection helps it through the legs of the goalkeeper.
