Real Madrid star Gareth Bale is settled at the Bernabeu and intends to see out the remaining three years of his contract, according to reports in Spain.
Bale recently scored his 100th goal in a Real shirt but has never quite won over the club's fans and has been linked with a move back to the Premier League.
Reports had suggested that Los Blancos would use him as part of their bid to lure Eden Hazard from Chelsea while Manchester United have been long-time suitors.
However, according to As, the Welsh winger has no intention of moving back to England and is "very happy and settled" in the Spanish capital.
The Madrid-based daily newspaper reports that sources close to Bale believe that his laid-back demeanour has contributed to a misunderstanding of his attitude and passion for the club among its support.
Bale has a contract until 2022 and as yet Real have received no formal bids for him. Although the club have not ruled out selling the forward, it would take a huge offer.
The Welshman has contributed 12 goals and five assists to Real's season - second only to Karim Benzema - and is said to be determined to up his level as the season heads into its decisive stage.
Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois recently claimed Bale had been nicknamed 'The Golfer' by his teammates and gave an insight into his relationship with the rest of the squad.
He said: "The other night we had a dinner with the entire squad. But Bale and (Toni) Kroos did not turn up. They reckoned the dinner was too late at night.
"Bale had told us 'I am not coming to join you, guys. I go to bed at 11'."
