On Friday, Barcelona's first team held an open training session at Camp Nou, attended by 23,000 spectators. Following the training, Barcelona's director and head of engineering, Joan Centelles, was interviewed by the Catalan radio program "Tot Costa".

Joan Centelles stated, “Everything is going very well, just as we expected. Of course, there are always areas for improvement; every match has its minor issues, whether we like it or not. But we originally anticipated a long list of problems, which turned out to be quite short: for example, a restroom lacking soap, some signage, etc.”

“We are working closely with the Barcelona City Council to discuss whether we can obtain an event permit before the match on the 22nd. I think our goals are aligned with the City Council's, and we shouldn't encounter any major problems, so we can return to the stadium on the 22nd.”

“The City Council's technical visit to the new stadium went very smoothly; they are very satisfied with the completion of Phase 1B, but given the large area involved, everything needs to be checked: stairs, handrails, evacuation systems… Today we can confirm that they are working very well.”

Regarding the orderly evacuation of spectators, this is crucial, and Joan Centress is pleased because “the goal of reducing the evacuation time from 12 minutes to 8 minutes is realistic, not just a simulation.”
